About Us

Brief Background

Teachers Leaning Centre started training ECD practitioners in 2007 and since then has provided high quality qualification to over 3 000 ECD practitioners across the different provinces in South Africa.

We are a well established skills development provider specialising in providing high quality qualifications in Early Childhood Development. Our courses are accredited and are specially designed to equip ECD practitioners and Grade R teachers with the essential knowledge and practical skills need to ensure that our young children are given the best start in life.

Our Mission

Teachers Learning Centre’s mission is to:

  • Facilitate skills-based courses.
  • Provide accredited and nationally recognised qualifications.
  • Instil values, knowledge and skills to equip prospective practitioners for their educational journey.
  • Provide accessible and affordable education to prospective practitioners.

Level 2 B-BBEE Contributor

TLC is an small black-owned EME with 57.05% Black Owned and 35.45% Black Female Owned, and a Level 2 (125%) B-BBEE procurement recognition level.

Accreditation and Registration

TLC is registered with the (ETDP SETA (Reg. No. 10440) and the QCTO (Reg. No. 180720-1097) to offer the nationally recognised NQF Level 4 qualification in ECD.
All qualifications are accredited with the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) and are aligned with the education and training standards registered on the NQF and OQSF.
